Mavoras Guarantee

How does the Guarantee work?

At Mavoras, we care about our users. To allow a worry-free experience, we created this Guarantee Program to protect Owners and their items. Mavoras Guarantee covers for non-return and damages of items being rented for up to $2,000. Note that if you have your own commercial insurance for your item, you will have to use that one first. If for any reason your insurance gets rejected, that's when Mavoras comes in and covers you and your item.

Who qualifies for this program?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have rented your item to a verified user in Mavoras
  • Have never been charged or convicted with any offense other than motoring offenses in the past 5 years
  • Have never had insurance canceled, refused, or declined.
  • Have never been subject to county court judgments, debt relief orders, or bankruptcies
  • Have not made more than 2 insurance claims in the past 5 years

Is there anything that Mavoras doesn't cover?

There are several factors that are not covered in the Guarantee:

  • General wear and tear
  • Late returns
  • Lack of appropriate preventative precautions
  • Pre-existing defects or damages
  • Cosmetic damages that do not affect functionality
  • Damages from natural disasters
  • Items needing maintenance previous to the rental

What to do if an item gets damaged or not returned?

When you make a claim, our Support Team will get in touch with you to get all the details needed for the Guarantee. You will be covered for the repair costs, replacement, or original value, whichever is less. Renters who fail to return an item are liable to pay for a full replacement cost of the item, regardless of the circumstance of the non-return.

Fraud

At Mavoras, we take fraud very seriously. Any attempts to falsify information, misrepresent facts, or deceive in relation to a claim or transaction will not be tolerated. We have strict measures in place to detect and prevent fraudulent activities. Any user found engaging in fraudulent behavior will face severe consequences, including the following:

  • Immediate termination of account privileges
  • Forfeiture of any pending payments or reimbursements
  • Full reimbursement of funds to the affected party
  • Possible legal action to recover damages
  • Permanent ban from the Mavora platform

Fraud not only undermines trust in the community but also affects the integrity of our marketplace. We are committed to ensuring a safe and transparent environment for all users. If fraud is suspected, it will be thoroughly investigated, and swift action will be taken.
