1. What is Marovas?
Mavoras is a marketplace that connects people who want to rent items with those who have unused items available to lend. Whether you’re looking to borrow something for a short time or share items you no longer need, Mavoras makes it easy to access what you need without the commitment of ownership. Our platform encourages a community of sharing, helping users save money, reduce waste, and promote sustainability.
2. How do I rent an item?
Renters can search for items near their location or by categories. Once they find what they are looking for, Renters can check its availability and contact the owner if they have any questions.
3. How do I list an item?
After creating an account, Owners can list their items at no charge! They can upload photos, write a description, set a price per day, and when it is going to be available to rent.
4. What happens if the item rented gets damaged?
Our experience shows that Mavoras members take good care of the rented items. However, if something goes wrong, both the Renter and the Owner are protected by the Mavoras Guarantee. Our Guarantee program is designed to cover damages or theft of the item being rented so that everyone experiences stress-free renting. If you are a Renter and damaged an item, please contact the Owner and our support team immediately at info@mavoras.com.
5. How are payments handled?
There are multiple payment options in Mavoras. The Renter will pay for the period of the rental and the Owner will receive the payment after the rental period is complete and verifies that the item was not damaged.
6. How do I communicate with an Owner or Renter?
Mavoras has its own messaging platform integrated into the website. Renters can ask questions about the item before or during the rental to the Owner.
7. Are there any fees to use Mavoras?
In order to keep the website functioning and count with the Mavoras Guarantee Program, we charge 15% to both Renters and Owners at the time of the payment.
8. How do I become a trusted Owner or Renter?
After each rental, both the Owner and the Renter can give a review to the other person. To receive good reviews from the other party, we suggest to:
- Be responsive to messages regarding the rental
- List as much information as possible if you are the Owner
- Take good care of the item while renting it if you are the Renter
Renters can see the ratings of Owners and vice versa, if you have a good rating, other users know that you are trustworthy in renting their items.
